Nice review, Tom. Do you think these can compete with Friuls?

Bill,

They are nicer looking, if assembly doesn't drive you mad! The pin end details are very nice for the true detail-hound. The only areas where Fruils are better are their weight (real sag...) and the ability to chemically treat them. I'm certainly happy to have these ones.

Thanks for the review Tom. I reviewed a set of tracks for the initial Tiger some time ago and more or less the same conclusions. Personally, I think the extra work is worth it ... they look fantastic. Friuls will also be let down by the open end .... maybe they should contact MasterClub and include a set of caps for the open end!!! They look so damned perfect, you wanna run out and buy a panther just to get useing them!

Frank,

You're right about that excuse for a new kit, but fortunately the Big A already sent me a Panther to put 'em on!

I wanted them because I plan to build that "Black Knights" beastie as the APG example, complete with horribly rucked-up tracks that the nice DS ones just can't replicate. (I know, anything to avoid adding Zimm... ) It looks from the pics as though somebody tried to move it with 60 years of rust in the hinges, with predictable results!

As these are the same price more or less as the Bronco tracks I would like to see how they compare. Thank you for the review.

Darren,

They came from the AFV Moddeller website's sale for only 13. I think they are getting out of the sales business so no idea how long they'll be available...

I'm curious about the Bronco tracks too, but haven't seen any in the flesh yet.

Very informative. Thanks for the review. With workable tracks, we do not always get what has been advertised so this review is very helpfull.
