Tread, the rail is 1/35 stuff, all from Dragon. Either from rail car kits, or their railway & embankment kit.

...and the AT gun

The discussion continues...

"AT" meaning "Anti-Tank" and not the 'traditional' indirect artillery that is...ah, ummmm... nevermind.

My M106A2 is suffering from attempted AMS so I will switch to the Firing Line 1/15 L16A2 81mm mortar. Looks pretty easy to build.

Hey All,

Just want everyone to know that I am still in this fight, umm I mean campaign, just haven't posted anything, cause I really didn't have much to post.

The GRAD is almost finished, and I am basically doing double duty for it, cause this build ends at the end of the month, plus I am trying to get it done for a hobby show coming up on Oct 2 and 3 in Halifax, so its going to pull double duty.

Here are the latest pics...basically just a hazing coat to blend the camo, final assembly, detail, wash and weather.

Enjoy!!

Howdy fellas,

Just a quick note to let you all know I've updated the Master List of entrants (first post of this thread) to reflect all the new postings.
We have approximately about a 30% completion rate at this point. We still have some time left, but......let's get some more participants crossing the finish line on this great Campaign so I can post MORE of those cool little ribbons and check marks after your names!!!

TIA guys and gals,

Tread.

My first campaign! There was a lot to learn with this kit as I tried a few new (to me) techniques. I'm pretty happy on how it turned out. I also learned a lot about the history of this gun.

heh, you forgot my pics of the homebuilt trebuchet in my gallery.

As for my limited edition howitzer, Internethobbies didnt have it, didnt tell me, shipped my order without it and it became a whole big ordeal. I ended up building a US 105 mm howitzer, will post pics upon as soon as I finish. Only a few parts and painting left.
