Wittmann Tiger 1

  • move
I always wanted to build a model tank depicting one of the rides of Michael Wittmann, I'm impressed with his impressive achievements. The choice fell on a vehicle from the Winter of 1944 and which achieved more than 80 victories.

I used a Tiger 1 from Academy and added ABER's photo etched set. It was painted with Pactra and Vallejo paints, applied using the hair spray technique. I tried to accurately depict the original by removing 2 of the wheels to the left on the left hand side. I have also added elements specific to the tank commander (Befehls tiger). Snow done with baking soda.

Great work. But... it would have only 2 antennae. David

Thank you and I'm glad you like it. David, this version of the Tiger had three antennas, here's the proof. LINK

Great work! But there is a mistake, do you mean Winter 1943? When Michael Wittmann found his end on 8.8.1944, he would not have seen the Winter of 1944. Greetings, Nils
